My plumbing is broken, my uterus is leaking, and the zombie is back in my fireplace. Obviously the way to solve all these problems at once is to run away, and that’s just what I’m going to do. I want to climb to the crown of the Statue of Liberty. I want to ride the Tram to Roosevelt Island. But the number one MUST do item on that list is walk [...] Maintenance Required It’s the dawn of a new era. We’ve said goodbye to Beauregard, and bought a new car. Well, new might not be the best word to describe her. She’s a ’94 – not exactly fresh of the show room floor, but she’s new to us. We decided to name her Virginia. Not a real stretch [...] Bo-Rocco-Bama and I traveled to Long Island yesterday (yes, two rivers, gasp!) for a BBQ hosted by some of his theater peeps. It never ceases to amaze me just how much land mass there is on the other side of Manhattan. Really, how is that possible? I think there must be some blip in the time [...] Yesterday’s big outing was a trip to Long (STRONG) Island for the baptism/christening of our friends’ twin daughters. I’m still a little fuzzy on what the difference is between a baptism and a christening.
