Me: Without, he’s working until 3am.
Dad: And he’s already gone?
Me: Yup, he was in at 8am. He got home last night around 1am.
Dad: I take it this is for some special event then.
Me: Yup, the VMA’s.
Dad: What?
Me: MTV’s Video Music Awards – it’s a television thing rather than theater.
Dad: Oh! That makes a little more sense. I couldn’t figure out what he’d be doing with Vanilla Mayonnaise.
